Monday, 29 November: 

• * PF case outlines due (even if NOT going to Princeton) ON PAPER; topic discussion with focus questions
•  * Congress:  Bill discussion
• *  Speech:  Practice Round

Tuesday, 30 November. 

• Scrimmage. 
• *Create/resurrect blog at blogspot.com.  Email the link to coachdeb8 AT gmail DOT com

Wednesday, 1 December. 

• Princeton Cases due--one per side per team.   Shared with Cooper at GoogleDocs. 
• Princeton Practice rounds (pairings will be announced Tuesday).
• * Speech Practice Rounds
• * Congress practice speeches
• Voluntary after-school practice session:  230 - 430 (but you must arrive by 3 pm)
• The purpose of the Voluntary After-School practice session is to:  allow extra time to work in-depth on cases and rebuttals; run practice rounds in all events; prep and do Congress speeches
• The after-school practice sessions are voluntary, but will be noted as part of the ballot portfolio for the 4th quarter grade

Thursday, 2 December. 

• Princeton Practice rounds (pairings announced Wednesday).
• * Speech practice rounds
• * Congress practice speeches
• Voluntary after-school practice session:  230- 430 (but you must arrive by 3 pm)
• Princeton cases revised by 9 pm at GoogleDocs

Friday, 3 December

7 am                   Leave for Princeton
1 pm                  Arrive Princeton; Check in
Until 2 pm         Free time
2 - 4 pm            Debaters:  Case work.   Final preparation
2 - 5 pm            Speech and Congress:  Prep. Practice speeches
4 -  745 pm       Speech and Congress Free Time including Dinner
4 - 930 pm        Debaters in rounds.  Get dinner between rounds but BEFORE 915
745 -11 pm       Speech/Congress.  Final prep.  Practice rounds   Congress bill binder prep.
930 - 11 pm      Debate:  share flows.  Discuss rounds.  Prepare blocks as needed. 

Saturday, 4 December
All day              Rounds, rounds, rounds.  Meals in small groups/on own.  Team dinner not possible :(    Once you are finished with ALL rounds for the day, you are on your free time until 930.  Please be in your assigned work rooms at 930 pm.  If break rounds start for Debate on Saturday, please note the obligation to observe break rounds under Sunday's plan.

930 - 11 pm     

• Debate:  share flows.  Discuss rounds.  Prepare blocks as needed.  Prep for break rounds.
• Speech/Congress:  Discuss and prep as needed.

Sunday, 5 December
9 am - 3 pm     Outrounds. 
If you are not competing, you are expected to observe at least 50% of outrounds in your division.  Debaters flow.  Congress should note and score speeches.  Speechies record titles and authors of pieces as well as 'practice judge'.  Exact schedule TBD.

3 - 4 pm          Awards
4 pm                Load bus
11 pm              Return to MERHS

Monday, 6 December

• Bring flows/notes/etc to class
• * All non-Princeton Squad cases due
• Write a tournament evaluation/reflection on your blog by 11 pm.
